The LSAT is the exam required for admission to nearly all law schools in the U.S. The test is offered four times per year: February, June, October, and December. If you wish to attend law school beginning in the Fall of 2008 you will need to take either the October or December exams. The TOEFL is an exam required by many American universities for admission of non-native English speakers. Since 2005 the test has been an Internet-based test (iBT) and contains four sections: writing, reading, speaking, and listening. The test can be taken year round at official testing centers. The GRE is required for admission to a wide range of graduate programs leading to a Master's or Doctoral degree. The GRE is administered only as a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT), which, unlike the previous paper and pencil format of the test, can now be taken at any time throughout the year. However, most applicants for graduate programs beginning in the Fall of 2008 will need to take the GRE before April in order to meet application deadlines.

However, most applicants for MBA programs beginning in Fall 2008 will need to take the GMAT before April in order to meet application deadlines.
Most four-year colleges require applicants to take either the SAT or ACT standardized entrance exams. The SAT is the more popular of the two, and is administered seven times a year: January, March, May, June, October, November, and December. High school juniors should consider taking either the May or June tests, while seniors should take (or retake) the SAT in the Fall or early Winter, prior to their application deadlines.

The Academy is an opportunity for motivated students to complete the entire college application process in three days of structured workshops and individual counseling from admissions experts. The Academy usually is offered once per year, in August.
